Week 2
The Language of Light

This week, I found myself immersed in color—a language I had yet to master. Watercolor demanded patience, a trust in its fluidity. I hesitated, afraid of making mistakes, but Agnes Cecile’s work emboldened me. Her sweeping washes of color, bold yet tender, reminded me that art is born in its imperfections.
My first attempts were clumsy, the colors patchy and unsure. But with each stroke, I learned to let go. The water and pigment began to flow together, creating gradients that felt alive. It was as though Emma’s world was revealing itself through the colors—soft yet vivid, familiar yet fantastical.
