Week 7

Emotions in Colour

The story’s emotional core came alive this week. I began using color to express Emma’s feelings—bold reds for courage, tender blues for sorrow, and soft yellows for hope. Inspired by a suggestion from my professor, I let the colors fade outward, as if emotions were radiating into the world.

Van Gogh’s vibrant palette and Cecile’s emotive washes reminded me that color isn’t just aesthetic; it’s narrative. Each hue became a thread in Emma’s story, weaving a tapestry of resilience and wonder.
